Raedial Farms Limited is a proudly Nigerian-owned and registered company with over a decade of experience in the sustainable management of farms, palm plantations, and livestock. Our dedicated team of more than 500 skilled professionals drives our business, which includes livestock rearing, crop cultivation, and processing, with a particular focus on the seedling, planting, and processing of Fresh Fruit Bunches of palm. We strive to produce sustainable Crude Palm Oil.

Currently, we manage over 65,000 palm trees across 1,500 hectares and are in the process of acquiring two additional palm plantations, covering 10,000 and 5,000 acres respectively.

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Plantation Manager to oversee the operations of our palm plantations and help drive our expansion efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the operation and financial performance of the company’s plantations.
• Lead the development and maintenance of infrastructure and support systems across the estates.
• Collaborate with department heads to ensure cost-effective operations.
• Provide leadership and strategic direction for agricultural activities, including research and development, planting, harvesting, and maintenance.
• Plan and execute the company’s plantation expansion strategy.
• Oversee the daily operations of the estate, focusing on human capital development, asset utilization, and operational performance.
• Conduct regular inspections of the plantations and provide detailed reports with recommendations for improvement.
• Ensure the plantations align with industry best practices and environmental policies.
• Manage the estate’s budget, optimizing both operating expenses and profitability.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including local government and surrounding communities.

Job Requirements

• A degree in Agriculture, Forestry, Science & Technology, or a related field.
• At least 10 years of proven experience in managing palm oil plantations.
• A solid technical background with knowledge of palm oil mills.
• Strong experience in managing plantations in multiple locations.
• A track record of managing multiple estates successfully.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Basic knowledge of agronomy and farming practices.
• Willingness to work and live in remote farm areas.
