Job Description
We are hiring a resourceful and detail-oriented Procurement Officer for the 18 Hours Lounge in Abuja. This role is responsible for managing procurement processes, ensuring timely delivery of quality supplies, and maintaining proper documentation for all materials and goods used in hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement efficient procurement systems and processes aligned with company standards
• Monitor supplier quality, service, and pricing
• Source competitive quotations for all hotel needs and negotiate best prices
• Ensure at least three valid quotations for all high-value items in line with policy
• Maintain supplier contracts to secure cost-effective pricing
• Coordinate daily deliveries based on market lists from the Executive Chef
• Track and update delivery schedules with vendors and buyers
• Approve and manage purchase orders and ensure timely communication with suppliers
• Maintain up-to-date records of supplier prices and quotations
• Research and recommend new products and suppliers
• Set and manage minimum and maximum stock levels with proper approvals
• Review discrepancies in price and quantity and provide necessary approvals
• Review and approve new stock requests with proper classification and stock planning
• Track and resolve pending and canceled orders
• Identify and manage slow-moving or obsolete stock items
• Ensure proper documentation, hygiene compliance, and audit-ready record-keeping
• Supervise all procurement-related staff and activities
• Conduct spot checks on storeroom records and purchasing data
• Coordinate with internal departments including Stores, Cost Control, and Accounts

Requirements

• Relevant academic qualifications and prior experience in procurement or hotel supply chain operations
• Strong attention to detail, negotiation, and record-keeping skills
• Must be able to work flexible hours

Salary
₦50,000 – ₦100,000 per month (based on experience)
