Role Overview
We are looking for a dedicated Project Officer to join our team in Uyo, Akwa Ibom. In this role, you will actively support the planning, coordination, and monitoring of projects across the state. Your work will directly contribute to the success of our ongoing programmes and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and coordinate the day-to-day management of projects in Akwa Ibom
- Monitor ongoing activities to ensure all targets and deliverables are met
- Act as a liaison between the organisation, government bodies, project beneficiaries, and community stakeholders
- Conduct regular visits to project locations within the state
- Provide strategic advice on engaging with government agencies and local communities
- Prepare and submit timely reports and essential documentation
- Lead project-related discussions and activities on educational policy and reproductive health
- Supervise and resolve any issues during the execution of ongoing projects
- Offer recommendations for improving project outcomes and implementation strategies
- Conduct basic monitoring and evaluation of project progress

Requirements
- A degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Humanities, Agricultural Extension, or related field
- Previous experience in non-profit or community-based project work
- Project management and team leadership experience preferred
- Proficiency in computer use and online communication tools
- Strong sense of initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervision
