Avixio Projects is a reputable oil servicing company delivering top-tier solutions to International Oil Companies (IOCs) and National Oil Companies (NOCs). We are currently expanding our team and seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to join our operations in Lagos.

Role Overview

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for cost planning, contract management, and financial oversight of construction projects within the oil and gas sector. Your expertise will ensure cost-effective project execution while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop accurate cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies.
  • Prepare and manage tender documentation and procurement plans.
  • Analyze contractor bids and recommend the most cost-effective solutions.
  • Oversee cost control and project expenditure throughout the lifecycle.
  • Measure work progress on-site and prepare valuation reports.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with construction contracts and expenses.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
  • Generate financial reports and forecast project costs.
  • Support dispute resolution and provide insights on contractual claims.
Candidate Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or Construction Management.
  • Hands-on experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction or oil & gas sector.
  • Familiarity with construction contracts such as FIDIC, NEC, or JCT.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and QS tools like CostX, Candy, or similar software.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional certification in Quantity Surveying is an added advantage.
  • Experience working on residential, commercial, infrastructure, or industrial projects.
  • Knowledge of Nigerian building codes and construction standards.
