U-Connect, a leading HR Outsourcing and Consultancy firm in Nigeria, is actively seeking an experienced Recruiter / Onsite Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in managing recruitment efforts for a range of FMCG sales positions. This includes Van Sales Representatives, Driver Sales Representatives, In-store Sales Representatives, Sales Executives, and Bike Sales Representatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the FMCG sector, exceptional sourcing skills, and the ability to effectively assess candidates for these roles.

Location: Anambra, Lagos, Rivers, Abuja (FCT)

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Sourcing

  • Manage the full recruitment cycle for FMCG sales roles, including Van Sales Representatives, Driver Sales Representatives, In-store Sales Representatives, Sales Executives, and Bike Sales Representatives.
  • Create and execute effective sourcing strategies to attract top-tier candidates for various sales positions.
  • Use a variety of platforms, including job boards, social media, networking, and recruitment agencies, to source candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the specifics of each role and tailor recruitment efforts accordingly.
  • Monitor and report on recruitment performance with regular entry and exit reports.

Candidate Screening & Selection

  • Conduct comprehensive phone and in-person interviews to evaluate candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Screen resumes and applications to create a shortlist of potential candidates.
  • Administer relevant assessments to evaluate candidates’ technical and sales abilities.
  • Provide hiring managers with recommendations on top candidates and assist in coordinating interviews.

Candidate Experience

  • Ensure clear, timely communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Foster a positive candidate experience by offering feedback and timely updates.
  • Serve as a brand ambassador, ensuring candidates understand the company’s values, culture, and mission.

Job Posting & Advertising

  • Write engaging and clear job descriptions for sales positions.
  • Post job openings on job boards, social media platforms, and internal channels.
  • Regularly update job postings to reflect the company’s needs and attract the best candidates.

Collaboration with Hiring Managers

  • Work closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements and desired candidate profiles.
  • Provide regular updates on open positions, candidate pipelines, and interview schedules.
  • Streamline the hiring process by ensuring coordination between recruitment teams and hiring managers.

Market Research

  • Stay updated with market trends and competitor activities in the FMCG sector.
  • Offer valuable insights to improve recruitment strategies and efficiency.
  • Conduct market visits to build relationships with potential candidates and gather relevant insights.

Onboarding Support

  • Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring smooth integration into their roles.

Qualifications

  • Education: OND, HND, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Proven experience recruiting for FMCG sales roles, including Van Sales Representatives, Driver Sales Representatives, In-store Sales Representatives, Sales Executives, and Bike Sales Representatives.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the FMCG industry, including sales operations and market dynamics.
  • Recruitment Skills: Expertise in sourcing, interviewing, and selecting candidates for sales roles.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build effective relationships.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple recruitment processes simultaneously.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage candidate expectations.
