Role Overview
We are hiring a School Inspection Manager to lead and manage school audits across government schools. This role is critical to maintaining high standards in teaching, school operations, and learning environments. You will oversee a large team of field associates, design and implement audit processes, and ensure accurate and timely data reporting. Your leadership will directly support continuous improvement in school performance, staff accountability, and student learning outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and Oversee School Audit Processes
- Design and implement procedures to assess school quality and compliance
- Analyze processes and recommend improvements to enhance performance
- Use and refine existing audit frameworks and best practices
Manage Field Inspection Teams
- Lead, train, and supervise a team of School Inspection Associates
- Guide the team through audits, ensuring accurate methodology
- Monitor corrective actions and ensure timely resolution of issues
Ensure Quality Reporting and Fast Resolution
- Make sure audit results are visible and used to inform decisions
- Work closely with departments such as Schools, Operations, Supply Chain, IT, and People to address reported concerns
- Identify recurring problems and collaborate with leadership to resolve them
Maintain Accurate Records and Analyze Data
- Keep detailed records of inspections, findings, and follow-ups
- Create reports and dashboards from collected data to drive decision-making
- Track performance metrics and spot trends for continuous improvement
Lead Projects and Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Plan and execute audits or initiatives with clear timelines and goals
- Coordinate with other teams to gather support and drive execution
- Manage project resources, performance, and feedback
Support Training and Team Capacity Building
- Collaborate with shared services to design training for the inspection team
- Conduct regular field visits to guide and coach field staff
- Build a culture of accountability, integrity, and efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in a quantitative field)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience managing field teams and running data collection projects
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience in quality control, process improvement, or field inspections
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, or Google alternatives
- Experience with data tools such as KoBo Toolbox, ODK, Google Forms, R, Stata, or Python is a plus
- High adaptability, self-motivation, and problem-solving ability
- Passion for education and strong commitment to student success
Desirable Attributes
- Experience in audit or education inspection
- Work experience in fast-paced environments or developing countries
- Familiarity with teacher training, classroom observation, or education service delivery
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and drive results
