Role Overview
We are hiring a Senior Associate – Audit & Assurance to lead and manage audit engagements across various sectors. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with strong technical expertise and leadership skills. You will guide audit teams, work directly with clients, and ensure high-quality audit processes that meet global standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, execution, and completion of audit assignments
- Manage audit teams, provide mentorship, and ensure consistent quality
- Review financial statements and audit documentation for accuracy and compliance
- Ensure all audits meet IFRS, ISA, and internal audit methodology
- Identify and address audit risks while offering practical recommendations
- Build strong client relationships and provide clear, timely communication
- Work collaboratively with internal teams across tax and advisory functions
- Present audit findings and support in preparing formal reports
- Stay updated on accounting standards and industry regulations
- Contribute to business development by spotting value-add opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification (completed or in progress)
- 3–5 years of audit experience in a professional services environment
- Strong understanding of IFRS and International Standards on Auditing
- Proficient in audit software and Microsoft Office tools
- Excellent communication, leadership, and time-management skills
- Analytical mindset with keen attention to detail
