About the Role
We’re hiring a Senior Data Scientist to help shape the future of digital lending through cutting-edge data science. In this role, you’ll develop high-impact credit and risk models and help us stay ahead in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment. You’ll work closely with our Data Science Manager and other key stakeholders across the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, deploy, and monitor credit risk models, scoring systems, and collections strategies using machine learning and AI
- Manage the full modeling lifecycle: data preparation, feature engineering, model development, testing, deployment, and performance tracking
- Collaborate with risk, business, and product teams to solve real-world challenges through data
- Integrate alternative data, behavioral analytics, and NLP into lending strategies
- Uphold best practices in model governance, explainability, and MLOps
- Mentor junior team members and help grow a high-performing data science culture
- Present findings and insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
What We’re Looking For
- 6 to 8+ years of experience in data science, particularly in credit risk modeling, fintech, or financial services
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and machine learning libraries like Scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow
- Proven ability to deploy and maintain models in live environments
- Strong knowledge of financial modeling, credit risk metrics, and lending operations
- Experience working with AWS, Databricks, and large datasets
- Interest or experience in AI, NLP, and advanced analytics techniques
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to make complex concepts easy to understand
- A curious mindset and a passion for building better, faster, smarter solutions
- Background in startups or fast-growth fintech environments is a plus
