Position: Senior Manager, IT Governance, Risk and Compliance
Location: Nigeria (Remote / Hybrid)

About the Role
We are looking for a highly experienced professional to lead our IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) function. This role plays a vital part in maintaining robust IT policies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and mitigating risk across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead quarterly Information Security Management System (ISMS) reviews and report on technology risks
- Drive IT risk reviews in collaboration with enterprise risk management teams
- Define and implement a strategic roadmap for IT-GRC initiatives
- Develop IT policies, standards, and frameworks aligned with global best practices such as ISO 27001, NIST, and COBIT
- Implement and manage an IT compliance monitoring framework covering standards like SOC 2, HITRUST, ISO27001, and PCI-DSS
- Track and report on legal and regulatory obligations, including GDPR, NDPR, NDPA, and Cybercrime Act
- Establish and execute an IT risk management framework to identify, assess, and mitigate risks
- Conduct Risk Control Self-Assessments, scoring risks across people, process, technology, and vendors while monitoring mitigation plans
What You Should Have
- Proven experience communicating and influencing across technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong presentation skills, especially in preparing and delivering executive-level risk reports
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with leadership and teams to drive informed business decisions
- Strategic thinking with a clear understanding of business needs and compliance requirements
Preferred Experience and Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years in a Governance, Risk, and Compliance role
- At least 3 years working directly with business or executive leaders
- Deep knowledge of IT compliance frameworks and industry standards (e.g., COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, ITIL, PCI-DSS, HITRUST)
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, or CGEIT are strongly preferred
