We’re offering a unique internship opportunity for students passionate about energy innovation and sales development. This is a three-month commercial project with our Nigeria Utility (NU) Sales Team, designed to give hands-on experience and build real-world business skills.

Key Responsibilities
As a Sales Intern, you’ll:
- Work on independent projects that require strategic thinking and decision-making
- Create engaging PowerPoint presentations and other visual content to communicate updates and share best practices
- Analyze data using Excel or other tools to support business decisions
- Get involved in key tasks within the sales function to gain practical experience
- Participate in early talent development programs, workshops, and training sessions
- Handle assignments that require precision, responsibility, and confidentiality
Requirements
Here’s what we’re looking for:
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s Degree program in Engineering
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken)
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 (where applicable)
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Availability to work full-time during the internship at GE’s Lagos office
Preferred Qualifications
You’ll stand out if you have:
- Foundational knowledge of power generation and gas turbines
- Are in your final year (4th year) studying Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering
- A collaborative mindset with the ability to work in diverse, global teams
- A proactive attitude and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
