Role Overview
We are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer with experience in the oil and gas industry. This role focuses on revenue growth by maintaining client relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales executives to plan and execute high-impact deals
- Present technical product information tailored to client needs
- Generate and follow up on high-quality leads
- Manage client orders, pricing, and delivery arrangements
- Develop innovative sales and marketing strategies
- Stay informed on business trends and internal updates
- Build strong customer relationships to understand their requirements
- Prepare clear and accurate quotations for clients
- Represent the company at industry events and exhibitions
- Identify new OEM prospects and schedule visits
- Suggest improvements to sales processes and communicate feedback
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to team goals
- Conduct product research and provide technical support to the sales team
- Collect and evaluate client feedback to refine the sales approach
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities
Requirements
- BSc in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 3 – 4 years of experience in engineering product sales
- Strong leadership and teamwork abilities
- Ability to simplify complex technical details for clients
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
- Experience in the oil and gas industry is essential
Salary Range
- N250,000 – N300,000 monthly
- With oil & gas experience: N300,000 – N400,000 monthly
