Job Overview
FirstBank is looking for a dedicated and skilled Web Developer & Mobile Solutions specialist to join our dynamic team. This position involves contributing to the digital transformation of the bank by developing and maintaining web and mobile solutions, managing SEO strategies, and ensuring website security standards are adhered to. As part of the team, you will work on optimizing our digital platforms and supporting the bank’s live production events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of digital solutions across channels.
  • Manage and optimize mobile applications, SEO activities, and related initiatives such as deep linking, link building, and keyword strategies to enhance website ranking across major search networks.
  • Provide technical support and training to subsidiary focal persons on website-related issues.
  • Develop webpages, landing pages, microsites, and apps to support digital marketing campaigns in line with established brand guidelines.
  • Coordinate VAPT (Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing) remediation efforts, ensuring all touchpoints are up-to-date.
  • Track and report on the value realization of go-live projects, ensuring timely communication with relevant stakeholders.
  • Handle mobile, app, and SEO requests, ensuring they follow best practices for optimal adaptability.
  • Advise and implement necessary website security standards.
  • Develop detailed reports for stakeholders, describing usage rates and engagement levels.
  • Supervise and resolve issues identified from website crawling tools, ensuring broken links are fixed.
  • Support the live production of events on bank-owned platforms.
  • Maintain and manage webmaster software, ensuring updates and renewals are done on time.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to improve FirstBank’s website functionality and user experience.
  • Implement tools and strategies to optimize website performance, ensuring search engines list the bank’s websites for targeted queries.
  • Manage internal and external link strategies to ensure backlinks direct to FirstBank’s sites, improving search engine rankings.
  • Conduct A/B testing on landing pages, messaging, and user experiences to optimize conversion rates.
  • Recommend improvements to website architecture, content, and linking strategies to enhance SEO performance for targeted keywords.

Qualifications and Experience

Education

  • Graduate Degree in Marketing, Social Sciences, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Digital Marketing certification is a plus.
  • Professional certifications in relevant fields such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Certified Internet Webmaster (CIW), and JavaScript Specialist will be an added advantage.

Experience

  • 4-7 years of experience in a webmaster function.
  • At least 2 years of experience in digital marketing, brand advertising, or consumer goods marketing.
  • Experience in financial services, product management, or investment banking/asset management will be beneficial.
  • Work experience in industries such as Digital Labs, FMCG, Telecommunications, or IT is an advantage.
