Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and detail oriented English Editor to join our editorial team. The successful candidate will work closely with authors and internal teams to ensure educational materials meet quality, accuracy, and language standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and review manuscripts before publication
- Build and update book title lists
- Edit educational content for clarity, grammar, and structure
- Carry out copy editing and fact checking
- Proofread materials before final printing
- Support other editorial tasks assigned by the Head of Department
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in English from a recognized institution
- Master’s degree is an added advantage
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Ability to work well with others in a team environment
- Capacity to meet tight deadlines
- Basic to good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
Salary
Monthly salary ranges from N100,000 to N150,000
