Job Title: Payroll Officer

Location: Ibadan, Oyo State

Employment Type: Full time

Role Overview

The Payroll Officer will be responsible for managing employee payroll activities and ensuring staff are paid accurately and on time. This role requires attention to detail, basic accounting knowledge, and the ability to work with payroll records and approvals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate employee gross salary based on approved records
  • Process statutory deductions such as taxes and other approved deductions
  • Compute net salary for all employees
  • Ensure payroll information passes the internal approval process
  • Disburse salaries through approved payment methods
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and confidentiality
Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Previous experience in payroll or accounting duties is an added advantage
  • Basic knowledge of payroll calculations and deductions
  • Good numerical and record keeping skills
  • Ability to work with deadlines and confidential information
  • Good communication and organizational skills
Salary

Monthly salary range is between N120,000 and N130,000
