We’re currently expanding our team and looking for a Cashier Associate to join our Lekki branch.
Job position: Cashier Associate
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer purchases using the provided point-of-sale software
- Verify that scanned items match products packed for customers
- Report sales accurately, distinguishing between payment methods such as cash, cheque, or approved digital payments
- Ensure timely and correct handover of daily sales to the on-duty manager or accountant
- Provide item pricing and respond to customer inquiries
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the checkout area
- Perform basic math and ensure accuracy in transactions
- Deliver excellent customer service with strong communication and attention to detail
- Assist with resolving customer issues and handling minor conflicts
- Carry out any other tasks assigned by the supervisor
Requirements
- Candidates should hold any of the following qualifications: NCE, OND, BA, BSc, or HND
- Strong numerical skills, customer service mindset, and ability to work under pressure are essential
