About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Planning Engineer with 7 to 10 years of experience in civil engineering project planning. The Planning Engineer will play a vital role in ensuring projects are well-organized, executed efficiently, and completed within the agreed timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and timelines based on project scope, resources, and deadlines
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather essential information for effective planning
- Create and maintain detailed project schedules using project management software
- Identify critical paths, detect potential bottlenecks, and propose solutions to optimize project execution
- Work with project managers to allocate labor, equipment, and materials efficiently
- Ensure that resource availability matches project needs and timelines
- Monitor and track project progress against established schedules
- Analyze and report on key performance indicators related to project timelines and performance
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- 7 to 10 years of professional experience as a Planning Engineer
- Strong expertise in project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
- Skilled in using project management software and tools
- Ability to identify and solve scheduling issues proactively
- Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Valid international passport suitable for employment in Saudi Arabia
