Job Title: Learning and Development Officer

Role Overview
As the Learning and Development Officer, you will support the coordination and execution of training and capacity-building initiatives in the field. You will contribute to the continuous development of MSF staff by applying learning tools, organizing workshops, and managing training logistics.
Key Responsibilities
Learning and Development Support
- Assist in implementing all learning and development activities within the project
- Provide support to the L&D Manager during field visits
- Explain L&D policies to staff and escalate queries when necessary
Internal Training Coordination
- Edit, format, and proofread training materials
- Organize logistics for training sessions including venue setup and materials
- Collect and report feedback from training activities
- Maintain an internal training catalogue and support validation of training content
External Training Logistics
- Track local and international training applications
- Coordinate with the Liaison Officer on visa follow-ups
- Handle training logistics such as venue bookings, transport, and equipment
Induction and Onboarding
- Ensure all new staff receive a complete induction program
- Support managers in setting induction and probation goals
- Conduct refresher briefings for international staff after three months
Welcome to MSF (WtMSF) Program
- Work with HR and L&D teams to select facilitators
- Plan and implement WtMSF sessions for all new staff
Administrative Duties
- Update HR databases with training and mobility records
- Maintain training inventory and request additional materials when needed
- Provide accurate updates for HR and L&D monthly reports
Requirements
- Relevant qualifications in Human Resources, Learning and Development, or a related field
- Experience in organizing and supporting training programs is a plus
