Job Title: Electrical Technician (Heavy-Duty Engines)
Location: Jamata Village, Lokoja LGA, Kogi State
Employment Type: Full-Time

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Technician specialized in heavy-duty engines. This role involves maintaining and repairing electrical systems on large industrial machines used in logistics, construction, and manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults in heavy-duty equipment, including wiring, starters, alternators, and batteries
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to enhance performance and prevent breakdowns
• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced electrical issues using technical manuals and diagnostic tools
• Install electrical systems and components following manufacturer specifications
• Work closely with engineers and technicians to solve technical challenges
• Create and follow preventive maintenance schedules to reduce machine downtime
• Interpret wiring and circuit diagrams accurately
• Maintain a safe working environment and comply with all safety standards

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in electrical maintenance for heavy-duty engines
• Solid understanding of electrical systems and fault diagnostics
• Hands-on experience with tools like multimeters and oscilloscopes
• Ability to read and understand technical schematics and manuals
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Physically fit and capable of working in a busy workshop environment
