We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team in the position of Marine Supervisor.

Role Overview
As a Marine Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of ExxonMobil’s marine assets. You will leverage your technical expertise and leadership skills to drive optimal business results while ensuring the highest safety standards.
This position involves leading a team to meet marine competency needs and overseeing the smooth execution of marine operations. Your role is crucial in supporting the efficient functioning of marine assets within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of marine assets critical to ExxonMobil’s business operations.
- Apply your expertise in vessel operations, including maintenance, regulatory compliance, administration, and customer service.
- Lead and provide consultancy for marine-related issues, liaising with state agencies and industry advocacy groups.
- Ensure adherence to all SSHE policies, programs, and procedures to safeguard people, the environment, assets, and the company’s reputation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, industry standards, operating guidelines, and best practices.
- Provide expertise to ensure that third-party vessel operations are carried out safely, reliably, and in full compliance with regulations and industry standards.
- Troubleshoot and support marine asset operating systems.
- Coordinate resolution of marine issues, particularly related to terminal interfaces.
- Develop strategies and assess business opportunities relevant to marine operations.
- Supervise, mentor, and foster a supportive team culture and work environment.
Qualifications & Experience
Required:
- Minimum of Chief Officer certificate, OR Officer of the Watch (OOW) with at least 10 years of relevant experience on FSO, FPSO, LNG, or tanker vessels.
Preferred:
- Previous experience with FSO or FPSO operations, tanker or LNG experience.
- Expertise in managing and troubleshooting marine systems.
- Experience in floating structure operations, liquid transfer operations (cargo, ballast, fueling), and offshore support vessels.
- In-depth knowledge of SSHE management and emergency response.
- Strong background in terminal operations and vessel administration, including regulatory compliance, policies, and procedures.
- Proficiency in marine logistics, navigation, ship handling, and seamanship.
- Experience with marine quality assurance and control.
