Job Title: Plant Technician, Mechanical

Job Responsibilities
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance of the W50 DF engine according to OEM recommendations.
- Monitor equipment performance and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Plan and manage spare parts inventory while optimizing costs.
- Operate and maintain W50 engines and auxiliary equipment, including pumps, fuel and oil separators, air filters, small generators, firefighting equipment, and RO plants.
- Update maintenance records, logbooks, and relevant software systems daily.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization in the plant by conducting regular housekeeping activities.
Educational Qualifications
- Higher National Diploma (HND) or Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering.
- 5-6 years of relevant work experience.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with gas engines.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance data analysis.
- Strong commitment to safety and operational efficiency.
- Experience in Wartsila Gas Engines (preferably 50DF) is an advantage.
- Knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance best practices.
