Job Overview
Enej Supermarket is seeking a skilled Retail Store Manager to lead our daily operations. The ideal candidate will have strong management skills, deep knowledge of supermarket operations, and a commitment to maximizing sales while minimizing costs. We are looking for someone experienced in inventory management, procurement, sales, marketing, customer service, and staff leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize daily store operations and assign duties to employees
- Manage and control the store budget to ensure cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency
- Implement business strategies to attract new customers, increase foot traffic, and optimize profitability
- Supervise, train, and guide staff to achieve peak performance
- Stay updated on market trends to improve store offerings and operations
- Analyze sales and revenue data to create accurate forecasts
- Monitor stock levels and purchases while ensuring spending remains within budget
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field
- Four to seven years of proven experience as a retail store manager
- Strong knowledge of retail management best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding leadership and organizational abilities
- Strong commercial awareness and strategic thinking
- Experience with retail management software
- Prior experience in supermarket management is highly desirable
Salary
N180,000 per month
