About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team. This role supports our Finance Manager by leading financial planning and analysis (FP&A) efforts, overseeing financial reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing taxation processes, and strengthening internal controls. You will provide strategic financial insights and help drive key business decisions to maintain the financial health of ReelFruit.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning and Analysis
  • Lead the creation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
  • Build financial models to aid decision-making and forecast business performance.
  • Analyze variances and collaborate with senior management to address gaps between budgeted and actual results.
Financial Reporting and Compliance
  • Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial statements.
  • Manage tax filings, audits, and ensure compliance with financial regulations and corporate policies.
  • Strengthen internal controls and maintain regulatory standards.
Business Performance and Strategy
  • Analyze financial and operational data to improve profitability and manage costs.
  • Provide financial analysis and modeling to support strategic initiatives.
  • Work with department leaders to track key performance indicators and business metrics.
Treasury and Cash Flow Management
  • Oversee cash flow forecasting and ensure sufficient liquidity for operations.
  • Monitor payables and receivables to optimize working capital.
  • Support strategic investment and financing decisions.
Leadership and Process Improvement
  • Serve as the second-in-command to the Finance Manager, stepping in when needed.
  • Lead initiatives to improve financial processes, systems, and reporting efficiency.
  • Mentor and develop junior finance team members for continuous growth.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. An MBA, ACA, or ACCA certification is a strong advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting and financial analysis, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong experience working with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills.
  • Familiarity with financial systems such as SAP, ODOO, Hyperion, or Adaptive Insights.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience in the FMCG or food manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
