1. Profile Code Generation:

• All candidates MUST use their phone numbers to generate their JAMB Profile Codes for the 2024 UTME registration.

1. National Identity Number (NIN) Requirement:

1. Unique Phone Number:

• Each phone number can be used by one candidate only. It is crucial to remember and securely store the number used, as it will be of utmost importance for subsequent communication with JAMB.

How to Obtain JAMB Profile Code for 2024:

The easiest method is by dialing *55019*NIN# on your phone. For example, *55019*112345678999#.

Alternatively, follow the procedure below:

• Send your National Identification Number (NIN) via text (SMS) to 55019 or 66019 from your phone. Format: “NIN 00123456789” (Ensure there is a space between “NIN” and your 11-digit NIN).

A 10-character Profile Code will be sent to your phone number, automatically linked to your 2024 application, examination, and admission.

Next Steps After Obtaining jamb Profile Code:

1. Present the Profile Code at the point of obtaining the JAMB form (Banks, MMOs, MFBs, Switches, USSD Partners).
2. An ePIN will be sent as a text message to your phone number.
3. Present the ePIN and Profile Code at any JAMB-accredited CBT Centre for registration.

• The application cannot be completed until your biometrics (all ten fingers) are captured, and a photograph is taken physically. No submission of a passport photograph is required.
