However, one of the reasons why federal government impulse the linking of this National identity Number (NIN), is to reduce the rate of internet fraudulent activity in the Nation as it keeps increasing everyday due to lack of employment. To link your National identity number to your MTN SIM card,
Dial *785#
Select 1 (to enter your 11 digits National identity Number)
Press send/Ok once you have entered them.
On your android or iOS phone
Go to your browser

To check if your National identity number as successful submitted,

How to Link NIN to Glo
To a glo customers, I’m not sure if there’s any Ussd Code provided by Glo to link NIN to them but instead they use SMS. kindly follow the steps below;
On your mobile phone
Go to your Sms inbox
Text UPDATENIN along with your first name and your last name to 109.
Visit https://www.gloworld.com.ng/NIN and fill all the requirements.
How to link NIN to Airtel
Kindly dial *121*1# on the SIM your are trying to link
You will be redirect to enter your National identity Number
Then input your NIN.
Press send/Ok
Note; if there’s any error along the process, wait for some minutes and trying again because it could be serve issue.
How to link NIN to 9mobile
This is one of the uncommon telecom in Nigeria with less customers. To link your NIN;
Dial *200*8#
Follow the steps require
Go to your browser on your android or iOS phone
Visit https://www.9mobile.com.ng/nin
Fill all the necessary information and link your National identity Number.
